World Realigns Based on Social Issues

The Russia-Ukraine war revealed so much to us about the economic and fiscal dynamics of Europe, America, and the globalists on both continents. But I’d like to cover one very interesting factor that is unfolding before our eyes. The stunning realignment of world powers happening around this war seems largely connected to social issues, not economic or even geopolitical ones. For instance, Europe and NATO are run by liberals who want to embrace the transgender ideology and pride parades, while Russia has said “nyet” to that radicalism while enacting pro-life laws instead. 

The current liberal hatred of Russia, however predates the war in Ukraine. In 2020, Russians amended their Constitution to ensure that marriage remains only “the union of a man and a woman.” In 2022 Russia broadened its ban on “LGBT propaganda” to include adults. Also, transgender treatment is banned in Russia, and transgender adults cannot adopt children. In 2023, the Supreme Court of Russia held that the “international public LGBT movement” is “extremist.” Displaying the rainbow flag in Russia can even result in fines and imprisonment.

You may recall that Obama pandered to the liberals’ hatred of Russia’s social policies, when he refused to attend its Winter Olympics in 2014. He even spoke disparagingly of the country: In December 2016 Obama insulted Russia as a “smaller” and “weaker country,” which fails to “produce anything that anybody wants to buy except oil and gas and arms.”

This all brings a very interesting perspective when we remember that Democrats erroneously insisted Russia was to thanks for Trump’s 2016 victory over Hillary Clinton. They used the fiction of the “Russian Collusion” hoax to disrupt the first two years (at least) of Trump’s first administration. But remember when Ukrainian president Zelensky campaigned in Pennsylvania last fall for Kamala Harris against Trump? We do, too. 

The Left simply cannot and will never accept any victory by Russia. They have too many years of hatred over Russia’s rejection of their radical leftist ideology.
