Scores Who Worked First Hand with Phyllis Schlafly sign on.
St. Louis, MO: Phyllis Schlafly Eagles has released an open letter to FX Networks Chairman John Landgraf regarding the upcoming FX on Hulu miniseries Mrs. America. The trailers and promotions for this project hint at a mean, cold, hard, and insincere Phyllis Schlafly, who said and did whatever she had to for her own gain.
“Hollywood has long been full of filth and lies, and we don’t expect them to change now,” said President Ed Martin of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “In typical fashion, they’re poised to revise history yet again as they tell the story of Phyllis, the radical feminists, and the Equal Rights Amendment. The vitriol and discrimination America saw in the women’s liberation movement will be transferred, I am sure, to Phyllis Schlafly in this liberal fairy-tale retelling.
“Phyllis’s Eagles are on the watch and will not let this historical revision go unchecked. They are flocking from every corner of the country to testify to the true spirit of Phyllis Schlafly. She was a kind and loving woman who only ever acted out of conviction and compassion, and who treated everyone — even her enemies — with respect and dignity.
“She was cool under pressure and rock-solid in her beliefs, but always kind and with a sincere smile. She was devoted to her family and lived a beautiful marriage with her husband Fred. So many of us were blessed to have known and worked with her personally. We will not allow the real Mrs. America to be buried by revisionists in Hollywood.”
