The following is a transcript from the Pro America Report.
Welcome welcome welcome. Ed Martin here on the Pro America Report. Great to be together and it is of course the night of the state of the Union, State of the Union, and later on in the program we will talk. I will tell tell you about the list of guests, the list of guests. This is a tradition that happens at these events now, since Ronald Reagan that you bring guests to illustrate some point or some policy issue or some political argument. He’ll have a a set of guests in the balcony in the in the audience, and they’ll you know there’s a military guy there who did that, and there’s a a woman who did X or Y, and there’s a old timer who did such and such. Of course, famously, a few years ago, when Rush Limbaugh was in the audience, he received the Presidential Medal of Freedom because he was very, very sick and he turned out it was a well timed since he he lived. He lived very lived with cancer for just a short period of time, so actually longer than people expected. To be honest, I thought the type of cancer he had was going to be even worse, but anyway, that there’s we’ll go through that list later.
But what you need to know today is Joe Biden is taking us down the path, of what what I only can call and I’ve told you before is the narrative machine. The narrative machine is when Joe Biden, big government, tells us something and he’s backed up by big media and big tech and they don’t see through it or they don’t, they they they don’t do anything to sort of break it down, they do nothing and so we have Joe Biden who’s going to say everything’s great. Things are going fine, it’s getting better and better. Jobs are more plentiful and the reality is.
The number one reality for most people is inflation. The other reality is the lower, the loss of value in their pensions and in their retirement vehicles. That’s something you hear if you ask anyone about that and they’ll say their pension and retirement vehicles are down. Now one thing to point out is a lot of people’s stuff. Retirement was up was up fairly dramatically, so when it’s down from being way up. Still, people are doing OK, but they don’t feel good about it and especially inflation. Of food inflation to me is the most stunning thing I’ve I’ve seen. I think I’ve told you that I have a a a, a brand of bacon that my kids like to eat and I like it too. It used to be that you could buy this big. I think it’s about a 1 1/2 pound package of bacon and it costs about. I think it. Was $11.99. Not insignificant, real money. It’s $19.99 now and now it’s almost always on sale for $17.99, but that that reality is it’s up from $11.99 to 17. It’s $6 up. For bacon, milk is the same way. Eggs you’ve heard, all of it.
So what what what you need to know is when you listen to Biden, you know you’re being lied to now. You know you should distrust and verify. But pull back and stand there and say to yourself, huh? What is it that we’re? How do if I distrust and try to verify this, what am I being lied about? Is it everything? Is it everything?
Think about I mean, if you believe that Joe Biden and the the Biden crime family are compromised vis a vis China. And the communist regime. Because Hunter Biden was in negotiating with them and had investments of billions of dollars. If you think that. Then you would say that the conduct of President Biden, he he has not committed to banning TikTok, he has not committed to punishing the drug the fentanyl producers in China. When they had the spy balloon pass over the United States, Biden seems slow to react. I’m not saying I can read his mind to know why, but if you just asked for the type of behavior that would indicate a compromised president, you’d get what Biden did, don’t you think? I I don’t see any way that there could be in argument. If you were to describe a president who is kowtowing to China, what else could there be? I mean, you know he’s not. He’s not asserting the Monroe Doctrine and saying get out of our hemisphere, he’s not pushing back on the fentanyl in Any meaningful way. You just at a certain point you shake your head and you say, well, this is what we’ve got. We’ve got a president the the Biden crime family is compromised. And we’re just going to have to live with that.
But here’s the other thing about tonight’s state of the. Union The articles that were coming out in support of so let me let me walk you back. I know better from the state of the state speeches when I worked for a governor that you roll out his speech the day of, you, you release the text to some reporters the day of and same thing with state of the Union and then you. You sort of follow on the speech with all kinds of accompanying voices and accompanying Pieces of the narrative. So if your speech is going to be about jobs, are back in place, then some of your guests are people that got a new job, or some of them are CEO’s or things like that. And so you build backwards from the speech and then through the speech you build the narrative, and so you actually see, I think Joe Biden is going off to Wisconsin or some a couple of places to after the speech on on Wednesday and Thursday to try to hammer home what he’s talking about. That’s kind of how you build out your speech.
And so the voices that were trotted out, the sort of second, secondary voices, the echoing voices, the validating voices. That’s the best way to say. It like Pete Buttigieg. He was on the shows on Sunday and he’s talking about the success and what the state of the Union is. And all this kind of stuff. He’s all on talking points. But but some of the talking points Were so clearly focused on a reelection that you have to call tonight’s state Of the union a soft launch of 2024 reelection. That is as Clear as can be and I have predicted it the whole time, but we’re there now.
Anybody who doesn’t see that that Joe Biden is running for reelection is not looking.
He is is clearly running for reelection and the echoing voices around him. The voices of the people that are delivering the message that hey, here’s why it’s a good state of the Union. Here’s why. It’s a good important. Here’s why, those people are delivering that message. Clean with in the context of running for a reelect. There’s no doubt about that now.
And here’s the thing. As I predicted, there’s no reason for him to yield. There’s no good reason for him to yield, even though his numbers are in the tank, they’ve always been in the tank. He’s never been wildly popular. He he’s gonna say, well, that’s not what matters. What matters is I can win all the right States and then I can win the states that are are close. And you know. He did it once. That’s he’s gonna say. Or he thinks he did it once.
So that was the opening of the 2024 reelection campaign of Joe Biden. That’s what you need to know. That’s what is coming and you can even see the themes around it. And you know, I I mentioned earlier that we were I’m I was. Yeah, I was at yesterday, two days. Two days ago I, I guess last week late last week we talked with Cynthia Hughes and of the Patriot Freedom Project and she’s up in, She was up in Maryland earlier today. I, I guess she was there for. It was for an event and it was at the Marriott and she, they got a phone call. The Marriott, a local Marriott, someone complained and the Marriott said yeah we don’t care if you’re complaining you know you were having a a fundraiser, an event for the January 6 family. You know this effort to support the families and the and then. At least so far, what we’re told I haven’t seen the paperwork yet, but I will get to see it. The National Marriott Hotel Company sent a letter to the local Marriott and said you cannot let this event take place, and so Cynthia Hughes and the Patriot Freedom Project. Everybody scrambled, and one of the the people there. One of the supporters said, I’ll host it at my house and. Then it came off great.
The point is the Biden machine that drove the message home that, be afraid be be really afraid, democracies on the ballot that’s coming back that’s coming back. That’s coming back in it with a vengeance. That’s the only play that he knows how to play.
Remember, this is the guy Joe Biden who announced for president. And said he’s announcing for president because he watched what happened at Charlottesville and then he lied about it. He said what happened at Charlottesville and then he lied. Then Biden lied about it and said, you know Trump supported it. He didn’t support it. He denounced it. He denounced it, but he did say that there were people at the at the event that cared about the statues. Those weren’t the people that were white nationalists and Neo Nazis at all, and he denounced them. But Joe Biden lied about it.
And that’s what, because fear works. That’s the secret.
What you need to know is fear works. So Joe Biden ran for office in 2020 and ran again in supported candidates in 2022 based on fear. Based on fear, that’s what he’s gonna do again. The campaign for 2024 began at the state of the Union speech and be afraid of how nasty Biden and his team will get. They’re going to make you think that everything’s at stake. Everything’s at stake, and everything’s bad, and everything’s terrible. Be afraid, be afraid. Be afraid. That’s what they’re going to try to do.
We have to fight our way through the hoax. We have to Make people realize they’re lying, that they are lying and we have to do better for our country and ourselves. It’s gonna be a heck of a challenge. Gonna be a heck of a couple of years. That’s what happened last night. That’s what you need to know.
