Big change as the spring forward fall back, you know we lose an hour spring forward always messes up the Sunday of this weekend, so causing chaos in the Martin household, clocks are wrong, people are arriving for. Breakfast to get ready for church at the wrong time on Sunday morning. All that stuff, every it’s you know, it’s. It’s a tradition. It’s a tradition, I guess, brought to you by daylight savings time. So.

John and Andy do a column, the Schlafly Report, lots of Phyllis’s writings. I think we’ll talk with Bensman, Todd Bensman either today or tomorrow. One of things I’m gonna mention to him is that Phyllis Schlafly, the late Phyllis Schlafly. Wrote a number of times, as did has John Schlafly about how the census the census is so significantly damaged by the illegal immigration in this country. Because even if you’re a non citizen and you’re living in a community, you get to be counted for the census. So there are jurisdictions that claim that that we would say. Have you know 750,000 citizens they represent approximately that number for a House seat. But 200,000 are illegals, you know, non citizens, but they have to be counted according to the Constitution. And so Elon Musk seized on this and is tweeting about it. I will talk with Bensman about that. Maybe tomorrow I’ll probably touch on it with John Schlafly.

And today’s what you need to know is this. The press, the press, the big time press, big media as I call them. They are such scumbags. And I’m sorry that’s a harsh word. It’s a really unpleasant word but it fits. It fits. I I’m just gonna point you to this exchange. George Stephanopoulos of ABC News. Interviewed Nancy Mace, a sitting member of Congress, a congresswoman, the first woman to graduate from the Citadel, a school that will only allowed women. I don’t know, 15 years ago, 20 years ago, maybe 20. And she’s in Congress. I’ve not agreed with her on every position she has, she’s she’s too moderate on a number of issues, in my opinion. I’m a more of a conservative than she is. But she’s a member of Congress. She’s a she’s a she’s someone who has at one point supported Kevin McCarthy at another point, thought he didn’t deal fair. Whatever. She’s a member of Congress from South Carolina.
And George Stephanopoulos, let’s remember, let’s review his record. George Stephanopoulos was a political operative. Who was a A deputy on the Clinton campaign for president. Now you remember the Clinton campaign. The Clinton campaign was engulfed with what are widely reported. All of them are widely reported As true, but certainly they were widely reported at as credible. I don’t know what exactly all of them are true, but that Bill Clinton was really not a very nice guy in terms of his marital vows. I’m not judging him. I’m not standing in judgment of anybody. I’m saying George Stephanopoulos. Bill Clinton was a player, as they say he was someone who thought it was cool to act like a a Kennedy or whatever in terms of his. You know, ability to go and and break his vows and and in my opinion, mistreat well certainly mistreat a woman named Monica Lewinsky. But George Stephanopoulos, he worked in politics as a partisan politics guy.
And then when he was done, because this is how the media works, big media, they said. Ohh yeah, we want some of those guys. We want some of the Liberals, we we want liberal people to come over and we’ll put them in position then we’ll pretend they’re news men. Bill Moyers was the first one to do this. He was a political guy, a Democrat. He worked for Lyndon Johnson, and then he went and became PBS. And he was this ohh serious, serious.
And these are frauds. These are partisan Players and George Stephanopoulos is a partisan player, but now all these years later, 20 years later, 25 years later, he does ABC has it’s Good Morning America, whatever it’s called, and he he haha with Michael Strahan and pals around with Robin Roberts and haha and lots of human interest stories. He’s a political hack. He’s always been a hack but he’s also really scummy. Really scummy, and here’s why.
There’s no one that argues that the lawsuits brought in New York State, New York City, by E Jean Carroll were that had any way to prove that what she alleges was true. Criminally. Because she alleges a rape, a sexual assault, and it was way past the statute of limitations. But more importantly, she didn’t have facts that mattered. She didn’t have witnesses. She had nothing. So it’s just her saying this, funded, reportedly by a Big Democrat donor who funded her lawsuits as and civil lawsuits that had to be filed only after there was changes to the law by the Democrat state of New York.
And then they went through this process and she tried to claim that she was raped and the jury said, no, you didn’t prove that you did not prove that. But then they said, oh, but we can’t. We’re. Not gonna let. Trump off we’re we’re we we’re we’re anti Trump and so we’re gonna say ohh yeah well we’re gonna say you’re liable for something I think and I was a defamation and they said and Trump said see I told you I didn’t do this this woman is not nice he said and he went on and on and on and she sued him. Again and said Ohh. Defamation and another jury of New York. Of people that don’t, don’t believe anything except Trump is bad, said that he owes her money.
Now, George Stephanopoulos confronts Nancy Mace on national TV and says, let me ask you something. You were that, you were the victim of rape. You’ve told us. She did. She on the floor of the house, she came forward and said when I was 16, this happened to me and she talked about how traumatic it was for her to tell that story. But she wanted to because of a. A vote that was happening. Now that’s supposed to be in the on the left. It’s supposed to be the great, you know, the the great woman, E. Jeane Carroll. Nancy Mace, has to be revered. It’s completely true. I have no reason to question what she said, although I don’t think she named the person. And I certainly don’t think she sued the person. Nancy Mace. But so I don’t know anything about what the reality is and it’s just despicable that we even talking about it, which is exactly what George Stephanopoulos is doing.
What you need to know is George Stephanopoulos brings up to Nancy Mace and says haha, you endorsed Donald Trump. You said you were a rape victim. How can you do that? He’s been blah blah, blah and he goes on to say as if Trump was convicted of that, he’s not. He was not. And it’s dispicable and it’s done because of politics, it’s done because they want to drive people away from Trump.
Because if you say someone is convicted is a is a rapist, you’re going to lose votes. Nobody likes to hear that. And if you’re saying it from somebody who has a perch where they spend millions and millions of dollars to make him look like a non partisan character, a thoughtful guy, George Stephanopoulos with the hair. And if you do that? You’re going to have some impact. It’s scummy. It’s terrible. It’s really evil.
Actually, it’s really evil.
The only good news for Donald Trump is that these people are doing evil things to him and and then some on some level. You know, we’re taught in the Bible that, you know, that evil evil won’t win. They may win now, but they don’t win in the long run. And so somehow, somehow it’s redeeming for Donald Trump to be slurred and slammed like this.
But what you need to know is George Stephanopoulos knows exactly what he’s doing, because even if he is attacked like I’m doing and called not credible, we still have to talk about the issue that he brought up. You see that?
This is the classic Nancy Pelosi called it the wrap around smear. You bring up something you have someone bring up something. Then you get the news to cover it. Then you go back and and talk about it again and you call it a smear. In this case, this is big media. They do this all the time. It’s called it’s. It’s the what the the phrase that’s often used is. When did you stop beating your Wife. Someone that asks a, it’s a it’s a question that creates the story. So whatever you answer, however, it’s handled, you get the story and George Stephanopoulos gets to be on everybody’s lips. Mine too. I I thought about not covering this because I thought it’s it. It works when it does.
But I wanna point it out to you. I wanna point out to you how big Media operates and once you see it, you know what’s going on. And as I I think it was Scott Adams the the Dilbert guy. I I saw a clip he did, he said. When you see something happen, it’s covered as news. You you first have to figure out who said it and once you figure out who said it, you know whether, what what it means. And so you hear this hit and this slur and slam. But then you realize George Stephanopoulos political hack political hack is the one saying it. He’s not saying it because he’s suddenly a a a a real battler for the causes. No, he’s saying it because it’s a convenient time. He’s not saying it.
He’s not bringing on the woman that said she was assaulted by Joe Biden. There’s a woman that said that credibly as credibly as E. Jeane Carroll in terms of the witnesses and everything else, which is to say none. But you don’t see that. No, you don’t see any of that coverage.
So you have just what you need to know is this is a slur and a slam coming from the big media and it’s done and it it. What it does show you is they’re panicking early because Joe Biden is so weak. They’re panicking early because the numbers are just slipping away from them and it it it, you know, usually this kind of hit works. One of the problems with this for. Them. Is the people that were going to be upset about that, about Trump, they’ve already seen enough of that about him to say, oh, that’s what I’m. Upset about it doesn’t work. As well, I’m not. I’m not defending it. I’m not defending any conduct. I’m saying in terms of the messaging. It’s baked in to Donald Trump that he’s been accused of all these things. That’s not gonna scare anybody off.
But what what you need to know is it’s, it’s nasty, it’s nasty. And the next time you hear something about a politician, stop and say to yourself, do I trust these people, the fake news? About anyone, by the way, I’d say about anyone, anyone famous, anyone famous where they say Oh yeah, I got this story. They did this, this and this. You gotta stop and say is it possibly is it possible It’s true? Is there any way to think this through? Alright, that’s what you need to know.
