But let’s get on down to it. There is news and headlines coming from every which way we’ve got some. We’re gonna talk about here at the end of the program. I’m gonna be back for the wrap up. Ed actually has a couple of good interviews that we, I, well, I’m looking forward to. I hope you are. We always have great guests here on the Pro America Report. Always really solid, very enlightening new stuff that it sends me off as. As just a well researched citizen, or at least that’s what I try to. It gives me a new direction to go every week, something I never even thought of before, so I always appreciate those good guests and I hope you do too.
Got a couple good ones coming at you today, George Landrith, and also John Zadrozny who we know and have heard from on the Pro America Report several times before.
But here, here is the direction I want to go for the WYNK that what you need to know, we were looking at a few important things this week, but I saw a headline from the Daily Caller. You know, the gas stoves have been under attack since. What, like last year? I think actually around this time last year, May of 2023, but that’s, you know, the, of course, the Biden administration immediately ran down this. Ohh, no, no. We’re not trying to ban your gas stoves. This is a myth. It’s misinformation. Well, you know what? It’s really not. It’s not at all.
And frankly, it it. The Biden administration has done a pretty good job reminding us that it’s not really about Gas stoves so much it is about, well, how do I say this? Let let me put it this it’s it’s kind of about all fossil fuels, but it’s not. The inconsistencies abound, so here’s what it is.
This isn’t so much targeting gas stoves, it’s about targeting all domestic conveniences that are afforded to us by fossil fuels. And, of course, the ridiculousness that you and I both know is that in building this electrified agenda, which is what they’re trying to do. Electric vehicles and electric appliances. This and that and. The other well. You and I both know that electricity Comes from fossil fuels. The vast majority of it comes from fossil fuels. We are nowhere near in America. Getting rid of that and anytime really in the near future in the foreseeable future.
In fact, here’s the numbers that I looked at. This is from 2022. Actually, this is the EIA, US Energy Information Administration. It’s an official government website. We can go and check it out, but the US EIA says that as far as electricity goes in the United States. We still have more than 3/4 generated by natural gas, coal and nuclear. More than 3/4.
In fact, natural gas is about 40% of our source of electricity generation, up to a couple of years ago. Coal is about 20%. Nuclear is. With just over 18% and then renewables altogether make up just over 21% and that is geothermal biomass, solar, hydro, wind there. It’s all combined. So you want to have this discussion.
This is very interesting because the the reality is fossil fuels are. And we know this. It’s the joke that you have to have a diesel generator somewhere to fuel up your Tesla with electric, you know, energy it it’s true. The fossil fuels are absolutely pushing forward our grid, our electricity generation. It’s it’s undeniable. And even though you look over the past several decades, really, you’ll see, you know, petroleum and other things grew, and then they started to shrink. Coal grew and started to shrink.
But as as these things have grown, renewables have grown but very, very slowly. The reality is it’s just Not the Renewable energy sources are not really providing the utilitarian push that they would like to think that they want you to think that it gives, so that doesn’t necessarily make sense.
This push away from fossil fuels and and this doesn’t even get into the the whole reason why the net zero agenda behind. Which which? That’s a. That’s like a whole separate segment we’ve had on Vijay Jayaraj and and Gregory Wrightstone from the CO2 Coalition. We could go through that whole thing.
Climate change is, in fact, a hoax. Man made climate change, dooming the planet. That is a hoax.
But when it comes to this stuff, you look at it, fossil fuels are behind the powering up of our electric Generation here in the United States. And. The push to get rid of stoves and other appliances. It is 100% and this this is what you need to know. I I took a little bit to to swing up into it, but this is what you need to know.
The push against gas stoves. This isn’t about compliance with some sort of energy renewable push. This is about reliance. This is about reliance on the grid, reliance on the systems, reliance on people who can turn on and off. This this is centralizing all of our energy usage so looking at it from that perspective you see not just necessarily a specific green renewable energy type of agenda.
You’re looking at, shocker, the command and control agenda that the government has pushed on us from every regulatory angle that they can, that they’ve had access to and there’s no end in sight. And this is particularly dangerous to us now because not only are they bleeding us dry on the economy, on inflation, on the actual impact on the incomes of families, but they are bleeding the nation dry by using up our strategic petroleum reserves by not creating American energy. Like we did, even under the Trump administration and have done in the past.
But the the reality here is that they push more and more and more people on being reliant On the grid. You can’t carry and I mean, you could argue about Teslas and carrying some sort of generator with you to power the vehicle, but it’s not the same. Your independence and freedom of movement to carry around gasoline or find gasoline and and zip around in your fuel gasoline powered car that is not The same kind of independence you have.
You are stuck to chargers. You are stuck to the grid. You are stuck to what is given to you and controlled and regulated by the regulatory agencies of our federal Element so you know, I mean you look at how the government operates, this is one of those things.
I know the the, the folks who are really down into the trenches of warfare against these alphabet agencies. You know, the gun rights folks, they’ll tell you no, the reality is there’s probably not some sort of gun ban or confiscation coming. They’re going to regulate Ammo and other key pieces out of existence. That’s how they’re going to get you to get rid of your guns. They’re going to make them useless and ineffective. You you look down the list. It’s the same kind of argument.
So here we want you to stop using cars. It’s not Even so much about the radical environmental agenda. It is for some of them, make no mistake. But those people are the useful idiots in my mind Who the Marxists are using to advance this agenda.
But the reality is, how can they keep you close to home? Well, we give you a car that doesn’t go as far we we take away some of your traveling independence. And guess what? Here comes the new kind of control, the new kind of tethering that you have to the system. This is, I mean, it just absolutely boggles the mind as you start to go down the rabbit hole. But guess what? We’ve got stuff coming down the pike That can absolutely have an impact now.
And I we’ve talked about it before, the 2022 at the at the Supreme Court kind of got overshadowed by Dobbs V Jackson. We had the overturn of Roe V Wade. This is a big deal, but. There were other things that happened.
West Virginia V EPA, a big landmark court case in 2022 that we still have yet to see. The full force of came down and told regulatory agencies basically to shove off to pound sand, get out from telling states what to do in a legislative manner. You’re not the lawmaking authority. You stay inside your lanes Regulatory agents.
Well, we’ve got other ones coming down the pike, too. We’ve talked about it on this program before. There’s a huge Chevron deference ruling coming. Which the Chevron deference we’ve we’ve talked about before, a big precedent that basically gives a it’s set, it’s a legal test for when U.S. Federal courts can defer to a government agency’s interpretation. It’s articulated as a doctrine known as the Chevron defense. That’s up for grabs this year.
There is a potential big Decision coming down, they could reshape the balance of power. The Supreme Court could between federal agencies and the judiciary. This is huge because that’s given regulators a thumb on the scale in any court case and the Supreme Court is poised to take that away.
Folks, This net zero agenda, this electronic agenda, this you stay near US agenda, we have got to beat this back and we’ve got some great opportunities ahead. We’re gonna talk a lot more about it here in the coming days and weeks and months on the Pro America Report. Don’t miss out.
Come on back after the break. We got a couple of great guests and we will skip ahead into some more news and wrap Up The show again here at the end on the Pro America Report. Don’t miss out. We’ll talk to you in just a moment.
